Hope Fur All is a foster-based animal rescue rooted in Aitkin, Minnesota. We are devoted to saving stray, feral, and neglected cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies across our rural community.
Born from a deep love for our community
In rural areas, animal welfare resources can be scarce, yet countless animals find themselves homeless and in need. Kelli grew up right here in Aitkin and cares deeply about the well-being of both our neighbors and our four-legged friends. Together, founders Kelli and Natalie bring over 25 combined years of independent rescue experience. Having personally rescued more than 5,000 cats, they created Hope Fur All to provide a dependable, local lifeline for animals in need.
Compassionate trap-neuter-return and rescue
Controlling community cat populations with compassion is central to our daily work. We trap feral and stray cats, ensure they are spayed or neutered, and evaluate each one carefully. Sociable cats and young kittens are brought into care to find loving indoor homes, while thriving feral cats are safely returned to monitored colonies. We also rescue dogs and puppies, giving every pet the dedicated medical attention and second chance they deserve.
The heart of our mission: dedicated foster homes
Because we operate entirely without a physical shelter facility, our foster families are the backbone of everything we achieve. In warm, nurturing home environments, foster caregivers provide the patient rehabilitation, medical oversight, and unconditional love that traumatized or abandoned pets need to heal. This hands-on attention prepares each animal thoroughly for a smooth transition into their forever home.
